FREEDOM OF INFORMATION COMMISSION
OF THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT

 

The above-captioned matter was scheduled to be heard as a contested case on December 16, 2008, at which time the complainant and the respondents appeared.  At such time, the complainant and the respondents informed the Commission that they had reached an agreement settling the complaint.  Specifically, the parties agreed on the record as follows:  the complainant received copies of most of the records she requested to the extent that they exist, counsel for the respondents agreed that she would verify whether documents exist responsive to the complainant’s request for student records, and, in return, the complainant agreed that she would withdraw her complaint.

The following order by the Commission is hereby recommended on the basis of the record concerning the above-captioned complaint:

1.  Based on the parties’ agreement, the case is hereby dismissed.

2.  The Commission commends the parties on having reached a non-litigated settlement in this matter.
