The above-captioned matter was scheduled to be heard as a contested case on August 15, 2008 at 9:30 A.M., at which time the respondents appeared, but the complainant did not appear to prosecute the case. The Commission takes administrative notice of the final decision in Docket #FIC2007-198; Renee Jackson v. Legal Department, State of Connecticut, Office of Policy and Management (March 26, 2008). In such matter, the complainant also failed to appear at the evidentiary hearing.
The following order by the Commission is hereby recommended on the basis of the record concerning the above-captioned complaint:
1. The complaint is hereby dismissed.
2. The complainant’s failure to appear resulted in a waste of valuable and scarce state resources.
