FREEDOM OF INFORMATION COMMISSION
OF THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT

 

The above-captioned matter was scheduled to be heard as a contested case on July 21, 2004, at which time the complainant and the respondent appeared.  At the outset of the hearing, the parties reached the following agreement in resolution of the complaint: 

 

1.  The respondent stipulated that its provision of some of the requested records to the complainant was not prompt within the meaning of the Freedom of Information Act.

 

2.  The complainant thereupon withdrew the complaint.    

 

The following order by the Commission is hereby recommended on the basis of the record concerning the above-captioned complaint:

 

1.  Based on the above, the complaint is hereby dismissed.

 

2.  The Commission commends the parties for reaching a non-litigated settlement of this matter.
