  Respondents October 23, 2002
       

 

            The above-captioned matter was scheduled to be heard as a contested case on September 4, 2002, at which time the complainant and respondent appeared and reached the following terms, in resolution of this case:

 

1.  The respondent shall forthwith contact the vendor that performed management audits upon the appointments of police chiefs Kane, Porteous and Ambrosini.  If the respondent is able to secure all or any of the copies of such audits from such vendor, she will forward such copies to the complainant.  If the respondent is unable to secure such copies, she will immediately inform the complainant of such fact by letter. 

 

2.  In consideration of the foregoing, the complainant withdrew the complaint in this

matter. 

 

The following order by the Commission is hereby recommended on the basis of the record concerning the above-captioned complaint:

 

            1.  The complaint is hereby dismissed.

 

            2.  The Commission commends both parties for reaching a non-litigated settlement of this matter.
