FREEDOM OF INFORMATION COMMISSION
OF THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT

FINAL DECISION
Docket #FIC 1996-557
October 22, 1997

In the Matter of a Complaint by Lorraine Tirella, Complainant
against
Theodore Oczkowski; Karin Burke; Bob Fitzgerald; Paul McGinnis; and Ken Rotman, as members of the Park & Recreation Commission, Town of Oxford; and Park & Recreation Commission, Town of Oxford, Respondents

The above-captioned matter was scheduled to be heard as a contested case on September 11, 1997, at which time the complainant and the respondent appeared, and presented limited testimony and argument on the complaint. During an informal conference immediately prior to the September 11, 1997 hearing, the complainant and the respondent reached an agreement in resolution of this contested case, and the complainant informed the Commission that she wished to withdraw her complaint.

The Commission warmly commends both the complainant and the respondent for working successfully to negotiate a non-litigated settlement of their earlier differences.

The following order by the Commission is hereby recommended on the basis of the record concerning the above-captioned complaint:

1. The complaint is hereby dismissed.

Approved by Order of the Freedom of Information Commission at its regular meeting of October 22, 1997.
